A pair of Yeovil-based business founders have taken home two gongs at an industry awards ceremony.
Ellie and Scott Quilter, the founders of Yeovil-based business Techosaurus, won two trophies at the South West Tech Awards 2025 held at Exeter's Sandy Park on Wednesday, November 19.
They were awarded the Best EdTech Provider award and the Somerset Cluster Award for their community-based work alongside the Digital Hub Yeovil team.
The business was founded in 2023 and aims to empower people with knowledge, confidence and practical digital skills.
They do this by regularly running AI bootcamps and other training events to help businesses and solopreneurs.
Ellie said: "We’re absolutely thrilled to receive this award and hugely grateful for the incredible support we get from our thriving community of learners, clients and fans.
"For us, education is not just about what is taught but how it is taught – that’s what makes the real difference in people’s lives."
Scott added: "Just like the natural process of evolution, businesses must continuously adapt their technology to stay competitive.
"We say to our clients, 'Don't be a dinosaur,' to encourage them to evolve their tech usage to drive efficiency and growth."
Techosaurus uses Ellie's knowledge of educational management and inclusive learning design and Scott's experience of IT management and automation to build the business.
Scott said: "Our philosophy is simple: evolution over revolution.
"Whether we're delivering award-winning bootcamps, training MSPs, or helping teams streamline their workflows, we believe that digital transformation should be empowering, not overwhelming - and that learning is the key to lasting impact."
Ellie added: "From day one, our goal has been to deliver more than just technical support - we empower people through knowledge, confidence, and practical digital skills.
"Whether you're a start-up, an educator, or an established business, our mission remains the same: we help you evolve by making technology work for you."
