A POPULAR BBC radio presenter and TV personality made his way to Somerset to enjoy a skylight spectacle.
Nick Grimshaw, known also as 'Grimmy', was pictured in Glastonbury, Somerset, at the weekend as he and his partner looked to get a good experience of the Winter Solstice in the county.

Followers of the broadcast star's Instagram were treated to a mix of pictures during the couple's buggy ride in the west and a stay at the Osip in Somerset - a food space frequently visited by former footballer and BBC Match of the Day host, Gary Lineker, among other high-profile names.
The 18th-Century restaurant, which opened in November 2019, is run by chef patron Merlin Labron-Johnson, who is a "farmer first and then a chef". Osip relocated from its first spot on Bruton High Street to the edge of a pine forest, near North Brewham.
Nick also shared images of his visit to Stonehenge.
Known for being the shortest day and the longest night of the year, the Winter Solstice provides people on higher ground with a perfect opportunity to go stargazing.
People travel to the south west whilst the solstice occurs as the Stone Henge monument is aligned to frame the midwinter sunset (and midsummer sunrise), drawing thousands to witness the sun setting through the great stones, symbolising rebirth and the return of light after the darkest day.
This is not Nick's first time in the county, as he spoke to Glastonbury Festival organiser, Emily Eavis, at the gates of the first day of the 2025 edition of the festival. On the day, Emily described opening the gates as “one of my favourite moments of the whole weekend”.
She added: “So much goes into all those areas… all that planning, all that speculation, all the opinions, all the debate, all the outrage, all the love, all the feelings that just are generated every day, all the press, all the noise."
On 30 June 2021, Grimshaw announced he would be leaving Radio 1 after 14 years on air. He later re-joined the BBC on January 9, 2025.
The BBC announced that Grimshaw would take over from Lauren Laverne as the new presenter of BBC Radio 6 Music's breakfast show, which he has covered for since August 2024.
