A RUSSIAN sea vessel that anchored in waters near Somerset has been ordered to leave.
The cargo ship in question, named Sinegorsk, was pictured anchoring near Minehead seafront on Tuesday, January 26, after it entered via the Bristol Channel.
Data from MarineTraffic shows the Russian ship left the town of Arkhangelsk earlier this month before entering UK waters due to 'essential' repairs.

Its arrival alerted the national government, which stated that a 'clear warning' to leave the area had been sent to the crew on board the ship.
Percy Hill captured a photo of the ship near the Somerset coast at approximately 7:30am on January 28.
A Department for Transport spokesperson said: “We issued a clear warning as a first step to the SINEGORSK vessel to leave UK waters after it entered to undertake essential safety repairs.
"This directive has been complied with, and the vessel is leaving UK waters.”
Sinegorsk cargo ship eventually departed at around 2pm on Wednesday, January 28.
