In a Facebook post, Taunton Fire Station said: "Two pumps were mobilised to the concrete works at Henlade for a fire in the open that involved tree scrub and garden type waste. The Incident commander requested the water carrier from Bridgwater.
"On-site workers assisted crews with a mechanical grab and two JCB's to separate the waste so it could be damped down. Approximately 200 tonnes of waste were moved and damped down.
"Crews used two hose-reel jets, two thermal image cameras, a triple extension ladder and water supplied by the water carrier and local hydrant.
"Relief crews were requested from the stations above to conclude the Incident."
