A LORD in Somerset has quit a show which sees people handcuffed to people they have never met before.
Sir Benjamin Slade, 79, 7th Baronet of Maunsel, had been partnered with George, 60, a former prison officer from London, in Channel 4's newest show Handcuffed: Last Pair Standing.
Hosted by Jonathan Ross, the show sees 18 contestants paired up with people they have never met before in the bid to win £100,000.

The first episode aired on Monday, March 2, giving viewers a glimpse into 79-year-old Sir Slade’s private life on his 1,300-acre Somerset estate.
The show features his three dogs, Kwasi, Nigel and Boris, all named after politicians.
He said his brother-in-law was “very good” to him before he died, and that his uncle and parents also died before he was 15.
A dinner party followed, and host Jonathan Ross said Sir Ben was “far from satisfied”.
Sir Ben repeatedly demanded his mobile, but George reminded him “them’s the rules” because contestants were banned from using their phones.
Sir Ben said: "I need to check what’s happening in the world.
"I’m not messing, I mean it are you going to get it or not? Get my phone…"

The aristocratic lord was then seen visibly pulling George with the director of the show asking Ben: "Are you sure you want to do this: [in reference to being uncuffed and being eliminated from the show]."
The pair of strangers were then separated with George speaking to Channel 4 camera crews: "I don't want to be part of all this."
Speaking after being uncuffed, Ben said: "I'm sorry, but I'm in command in my own house, if I say I want it, I get it."
The pair had been handcuffed for just 12 hours and 47 minutes in total.
Sir Slade has previously made headlines for his listed requirements to become his wife, including a long list of “essential” requirements for any future wife.
The millionaire has said that his new wife would need to be at least 20 years younger than him, must not be a Scorpio, use drugs, or be an alcoholic - and a helicopter licence is preferred.
