From a stand-up comedy show to a celebration of Laurel and Hardy, there's plenty to enjoy in Taunton over the next week.

Guards! Guards!
Taunton Thespians are bringing Terry Pratchett's Guards! Guards! to the stage this week.
Adapted by Stephen Briggs, the show is set to bring the magic of Pratchett’s Discworld to life at the Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre.
With dragons and misfit heroes, the play follows the City Watch, headed by Captain Vimes and newcomer Carrot.
Performances are scheduled for Thursday, March 12, and Friday, March 13, at 7.30pm, and Saturday, March 14, at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
Tickets are £16 for adults, £8 for children under 16, students, and those solely dependent on state benefits, and can be purchased at tacchi-morris.com/taunton-thespians.
Comedy at Queen’s
Taunton is set to host a new live comedy show this weekend.
Set for Friday, March 13 at Queen's Hall Theatre, the show will be headlined by Glenn Moore, an Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee.
The 500-seat venue will recreate the atmosphere of a national tour, featuring a blend of crowd work by Rory O’Hanlon and sets by Ignacio Lopez and Ian Murphy.
The event, strictly for over-18s, promises a relaxed night with drinks and two interval breaks.
The show will run from 7pm to 10pm, just 10 minutes from Taunton town centre.

100 Years Celebration of Laurel & Hardy
A new show celebrating 100 years of Laurel & Hardy is coming to Taunton.
Presented by Neil Brand, the 100 Years Celebration of Laurel & Hardy will take to the Brewhouse stage on Friday, March 13.
The event marks the centenary of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy's debut in the film 45 Minutes from Hollywood.
The show will include restored silent films and rediscovered comedies, with Mr Brand's renowned live piano improvisations.
The evening will end with a Q&A session and a meet and greet.

Sunday Big Band Jazz
A jazz big band will perform at the Creative Innovation Centre this weekend.
The band will start at 12.15 pm on Sunday, March 15.
Advanced tickets for the show will cost £15 and can be purchased at creativeinnovationcentre.co.uk/live-music/sunday-big-band-jazz-sun-15th-mar.
Tickets are also available at the door for £20.
The show is part of a residency which takes place on the third Sunday of every month.
The performances are a collaboration among different big band jazz musicians, and each show has a different theme, providing a unique experience every time.
