HERE are the latest Taunton offenders who have appeared in Taunton Magistrates’ Court.
Ian Blake, 41, of William Street, Taunton, pleaded guilty to racially aggravated intentional harassment using words and behaviour towards a police constable in Bridgwater.
Blake was given a community order, ordered to take part in drug rehabilitation and up to 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days. Blake was also ordered to pay £100 in compensation.
Rhys Grant, 34, of East Reach, Taunton, pleaded guilty to racially aggravated harassment/ alarm/distress through threatening or abusive words or behaviour in Victoria Gate.
He has been ordered to pay a surcharge of £32 and £40 in costs. Grant was fined £80.

Kelvin Fletcher, 39, of Staplegrove, Taunton, pleaded guilty to a breach of a non-molestation order after he sent an ‘abusive text message’ and parking at a person’s home address, which he was prohibited from doing.
Fletcher was ordered to pay a total fine of £900. He was also ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £360 surcharge.
Samuel Collins, of Bathpool, Taunton, pleaded guilty for using threatening/abusive words or behaviour.
The 33-year-old was ordered to pay £40 in costs and a fine of £80.
