The owners of Bindon House, near Langford Budville, have applied for planning permission at the Grade II listed premises.
The historic former country house was once home to relatives of Spencer Perceval, the only British Prime Minister assassinated in office.
The fire spread into the roof after breaking out on the second floor of the east wing in July 2025.
It led to a partial building collapse and destroyed the second-floor converted attic room and roof structure.

Bathrooms and bedrooms suffered extensive smoke and water damage.
Parts of the roof have since collapsed and the entire roof covering and structure needs replacing.
A report to planners by Benjamin and Beauchamp Architects seeks permission for the reinstatement of the east wing roof structure.
The second floor, which was badly damaged by fire and water, requires replacement of the internal finishes.
The central historic core and west wing of the building, which dates from the 17th century and sits in seven acres of woodland and formal gardens, were unharmed.
The report says: "Some of the structural A-frames of the roof remain in place but are badly charred, others are lost to the fire.
"The east gable chimney stack has been identified as unstable from the original roof line upwards.
"Within the bedrooms, bathrooms and adjoining corridors of the first and second floor, wallpapers, gypsum plaster and plasterboard have been affected by fire and dampness from the fire hoses, damaged leaking services and subsequent exposure to the elements.
"These elements are now showing signs of mould and fungal growths.
"The existing ground floor plasterboard ceilings have also been affected by damp and require replacement.
"The modern studwork of the first and second floor bedrooms and bathrooms has also been badly damaged by fire and water and is now infected by fungal growths.
"These timbers require careful removal and replacement with new to match the existing.”
It adds: "The roof structure consisting of exposed hardwood primary trusses and purlins have been damaged beyond repair by the fire.
"All the concealed rafters and the three dormers…require complete replacement.
"The first and second floors, all ceilings and stud partition finishes will undergo like for like replacement, these have been all found to be modern materials.
"The remaining roof structure and slate coverings will be carefully taken down and charred debris removed from site.
"A new roof structure will be constructed in the same form and materials as the previous roof.”
The east gable chimney stack will be dismantled and rebuilt.
The report concludes: "The urgent repair work is necessary to make the east wing of the building habitable and to protect the building from the elements and any further damage.
"The proposed essential repairs will ensure the ongoing viable use of the heritage asset and will be built to match the pre-fire design."
