A new series of lunchtime concerts is set to begin at St John's Church in Taunton.
Starting on Friday, May 8, the concerts will feature performances by musicians, all volunteering to support their favourite charities and the church.
Kicking off the series are Eric Tebbett and Katie Gange, both seasoned vocalists.
They will perform a programme titled Songs from the Shows, which includes popular numbers from 20th-century musicals.
After training at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music, Mr Tebbett has had a long musical career spanning five continents and has now settled in Taunton.
Ms Gange, who graduated from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of vocalists.
She is a singing teacher, involved with the Taunton Festival of the Arts, and also finds joy in performing at concerts.
They will be joined by well-known local pianist and organist, Andrew Carter.
Mr Carter balanced his love for music with a career as a language teacher, a member of the Diplomatic Service, and as Warden of St George’s House, Windsor.
The 45-minute concerts will take place on the second Friday of each month until November.
They will start at 12.45pm, with doors opening at midday.
Concert-goers can enjoy drinks before the performance and are welcome to bring a packed lunch to have before or during the concert.
Pamphlets with the series' details can be found at various locations in Taunton and the surrounding areas, such as the Taunton Ticket and Information Centre.
