From various Somerset Day celebrations to a theatre performance, there's plenty to enjoy in Taunton over the next week.
A Take That tribute act is also on the agenda.
The Take That Experience
A Take That tribute act is coming to Taunton this week.
The Take That Experience will perform at The Brewhouse on Friday, May 8.
Described as the "ultimate tribute act" to the iconic band, the experience boasts amazing vocals, replica costumes and electrifying dance routines, with a repertoire spanning from the 90s through to the present.
Hits will include Pray, Relight My Fire, and Giants, along with a solo set for Robbie Williams, performing favourites like Angels and Let Me Entertain You.

Spring Shindig
The opening of a Taunton country park is set to be marked with a free day-long celebration on Saturday, May 9.
Timed for Somerset Day, the Spring Shindig will take place at Maidenbrook Country Park from 2pm to 10pm and mark the grand opening of both the park and the Somerset Wood.
The event will feature live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and a range of food options.
A raffle supporting Operation Tribute will also take place.
Stuart Haskins, West Monkton Parish Council chairperson, said: "We’re thrilled to welcome residents, families, and visitors to enjoy the park, the woodland, and a fantastic day of activities."

Somerset Day Evensong
The Choir of Wellington School will sing Evensong at St John's Church in Taunton on Saturday, May 9.
The traditional Evensong service, according to the Book of Common, begins at 4pm.
This special event is on the eve of Somerset Day, and attendees can expect to see several local dignitaries at the service.
The community is invited to participate in the celebrations by attending the service and sharing tea and traditional Somerset cakes with the dignitaries.
Nearby parking will be available at Tangier and Enfield car parks for those attending the service.
Reduced Shakespeare Company
The Reduced Shakespeare Company is bringing its riotous show to Taunton this weekend.
The group will perform an abridged version of the complete works of William Shakespeare.
With a runtime of just over two hours, including an interval, the performance is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £28 for adults and £26 for children and can be purchased at tacchi-morris.com/reduced-shakespeare-company.
The show promises a fresh take on all 37 of the Bard’s plays.
The Reduced Shakespeare Company has performed in over 20 countries.
The show is presented by The Theatre Chipping Norton and Selladoor Worldwide.
