Festivalgoers in their thousands are set to descend on Weston-super-Mare for Summer Fest this weekend.

After last week’s heatwave, the weather has turned, bringing rain and wind.

But what is the forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the three days of the event?

On Friday, June 5, the day of Symphonic Ibiza, the weather outlook is for light rain showers and a gentle breeze.

The following day, Saturday, June 6, when Craig David and Dizzee Rascal are set to take to the stage, it is expected to be light rain with a fresh breeze.

On the final day, Sunday, June 7, when Madness are headlining, light rain showers and a moderate breeze are forecast.

According to BBC Weather: “Tomorrow morning (Friday, June 5) will be largely dry with some sunny spells. It will turn cloudier in the afternoon with some showers moving in from the west.

“Saturday will be cloudy and windy with outbreaks of rain. It will turn drier later in the afternoon with some sunny spells possible.

"Sunday will be fairly cloudy with a few light showers but it will turn largely dry by the evening."
