The world-famous Glastonbury Tor features the roofless remains of the 14th‑century tower of St Michael’s Church. Towering 158 metres above the Somerset levels, the Tor is woven into a wealth of British myths and legends, including associations with King Arthur, the Isle of Avalon and even the Holy Grail.
