- Somerset Council have issued a travel alert at the A361 near Glastonbury due to a vehicle fire, as of around 8am Wednesday June 24.
- The A361 Edgarley Road is currently closed between Edgarley Field Lane and Cinnamon Lane in both directions.
- The fire service has confirmed 2 fire engines attended the scene, and police were also present to help redirect traffic.
- Somerset Council has confirmed the gritting lorry caught fire this morning, with the driver able to safely exit the vehicle and no injuries sustained.
- The road will re-open this afternoon, Wednesday 24 May, and close again for repair works between 7pm and 12am approximately this evening.
