Ryanair has unveiled its top “hidden gem” destinations from Bristol Airport for summer 2026, with Girona in Spain and Marseille in France topping the list.
The budget airline said the two locations offer travellers a mix of culture, food and sunshine without the crowds seen at more traditional holiday hotspots.
Girona, in Spain’s Catalonia region, is highlighted for its historic streets, relaxed atmosphere and strong food scene. Ryanair is operating eight weekly flights from Bristol to the city throughout the summer.
Meanwhile, Marseille is being promoted as a gateway to the south of France, combining coastal scenery with a rich history and vibrant food culture. The airline will run four weekly flights from Bristol to the French port city.
The two destinations are part of 36 routes Ryanair is operating to and from Bristol Airport this summer.

Jade Kirwan, Ryanair’s director of communications, said the flights offer holidaymakers a chance to explore lesser-known destinations.
“Whether you’re planning to sightsee, try the local cuisine or simply soak up the atmosphere, what better way to get there than with one of Ryanair’s low-fare flights,” she said.
The airline said fares start from £29.99, with bookings available through its website and app.
