A TESCO petrol station and express store in Taunton is set to reopen later than planned.
On June 7, work began to revitalise the busy store on East Reach, which has been open for nearly 20 years.
Customers have been unable to fill up on food or fuel since then, with signage posted indicating that improvements are in place as part of a refit.
Orange barriers are also still pitched up at the petrol station and convenience store amid ongoing works.
As per the current signage on the railing in front of the Taunton Tesco, it was planned to be fully back and running on Thursday, July 2. However, this is not the case.
The shop has remained shuttered for the first week of July with no sign/notice confirming a revised reopening date.
The County Gazette has approached Tesco regarding a reopening date for the East Reach petrol station and store.

In response, Tesco said it anticipates the store opening during the week of 6–12 July.
The Esso petrol station and Tesco convenience store on East Reach opened to customers for the first time on Friday, October 26 2006, creating 30 new jobs in the process.
Staff celebrated the opening by donating £500 to St Margaret's Somerset Hospice.
