Somerset Council has issued an update on asbestos concerns more than a week after a major fire at the Saxonvale site in Frome.
The blaze broke out on July 1 and is being treated as suspicious by police and fire investigators.
An asbestos refurbishment and structural survey was carried out after emergency services handed the site back to the council.
In a statement, the authority said: "The survey found that asbestos debris from the fire was contained largely within the site boundary, with only very small amounts extending to the edge of the neighbouring Lidl car park."
The council said Lidl had been informed of the findings and that it had been working closely with the company to ensure appropriate precautions were taken.

Providing reassurance to the public, Somerset Council said: "To provide further reassurance, a specialist third-party contractor was commissioned to carry out six background air monitoring tests across the site.
"All results were satisfactory and confirmed that there is no danger to the public."
The authority added: "The small amount of debris identified in the Lidl car park has been assessed as presenting a very low risk, and the specialist report concluded that no action was required."
However, it said a specialist asbestos contractor had been instructed to remove any debris which may be present in the car park as an additional precaution.
The clean-up work was due to take place on Friday, July 10.
In the statement, the council said: "The safety of residents, visitors and businesses remains our priority, and we will continue to take a cautious and responsible approach while the site is made safe."
Police and Avon Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed the fire is being treated as suspicious and enquiries remain ongoing.
