HERE are some of the latest Taunton, Wellington and wider Somerset offenders who have appeared in Taunton and North Somerset Magistrates' Court.
Kaine Timewell, 22, of Moorland Road, Taunton, pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing/sight of a person likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
Timewell has been ordered to pay £85 in costs, a surcharge of £26 and has been given a conditional discharge of six months.
Joseph Packman, 59, of Gay Street, Wellington, pleaded guilty to disorderly behaviour while drunk in Wellington on June 13 of this year.
Packman must pay a surcharge of £16, £85 in costs and a fine of £40.
Thomas Pearce, 18, of Wessex Close, Bridgwater, Somerset, pleaded guilty to causing a person harassment, alarm or distress by using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour thereby causing that or another person harassment, alarm or distress and the alarm was racially aggravated on February 8 of this year in Bridgwater.
Pearce pleaded guilty to wilfully obstructing a police constable in the execution of his duty in Bridgwater on February 7 of this year.
Pearce also pleaded guilty to wielding a knuckleduster (an ‘offensive weapon’) in a public place, namely High Street, Bridgwater on February 8 of this year.
Pearce has been sentenced to serve a community order.
Pearce must complete 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days and 100 hours of unpaid work.

The court has also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the knuckleduster.
Mark Thompson, 51, of Bower Avenue, Bridgwater, Somerset, pleaded guilty to having in his possession a quantity of cannabis in Bridgwater on February 19 of this year.
Thompson pleaded guilty to attempting to steal an Amazon parcel of unknown value belonging to another in Somerset on May 2 of this year.
Thompson also pleaded guilty to having ketamine in his possession in Bridgwater on February 19 of this year.
Thompson was ordered to pay £85 in costs and a fine of £80.
The court ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the cannabis and the ketamine.
Lee Ravenhill, 39, of Mark, Highbridge, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with notification requirements by failing to register at Taunton Police Station every seven days on March 20 of this year.
Ravenhill also pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the notification requirements to register at Taunton Police Station every seven days on March 6 of this year.
Ravenhill has been sentenced to serve a total custodial sentence of 32 weeks.
