A POPULAR handbag and accessories retailer is set to leave Clarks Village, with signs appearing in the shop windows confirming the store is closing down.

Radley London, which has traded from the outlet shopping centre in Street for several years, has launched a closing down sale, with posters advertising reductions and "everything must go" offers displayed throughout the store.

Photographs taken at the shopping village show multiple "Closing Down" signs covering the windows, alongside notices indicating fixtures and fittings are also being offered for sale.

The closure will mark the end of Radley London's presence at Clarks Village, one of Somerset's best-known retail destinations.

Customers visiting the store can currently take advantage of discounted stock as the retailer clears remaining products ahead of its departure. The shop, located near Rituals, remains open while the sale continues.

No reason for the closure has been publicly displayed at the store and it is not yet known when the branch's final trading day will be.

Radley London is best known for its range of handbags, purses and accessories, often recognisable through its iconic Scottish Terrier logo. The British fashion brand has operated stores and concessions across the UK and internationally since it was founded in 1998.

The closure comes amid continued changes across the retail sector, with shopping destinations regularly welcoming new brands while saying goodbye to others.

Clarks Village remains home to more than 90 stores, restaurants and cafés, attracting visitors from across Somerset and beyond.

Shoppers have reacted with disappointment to the news, with the store long established as a destination for customers seeking discounted designer handbags and accessories.

As the closing-down sale continues, customers are being encouraged to visit soon while stock remains available.
