The RAF Red Arrows will perform a special flypast over the Somerset border next month as part of celebrations marking a major milestone for a popular visitor attraction.
The world-famous display team is set to appear at Longleat on Friday, September 11, as the safari park celebrates its 60th anniversary during its annual Icons of the Sky event.
Longleat announced the news on Facebook today (August 5), saying it was "thrilled" to confirm the Red Arrows appearance.
The attraction said: "The RAF Red Arrows began displaying only a year before our lions were introduced to the Wiltshire countryside, so it really is bringing two national treasures together for a sensational celebration."

The flypast is the latest addition to the programme for Icons of the Sky, a three-day event running from September 11 to 13.
Among the highlights will be the UK debut of Smiley, a 120-foot-tall scarecrow hot air balloon being brought to the event from the United States by owner and pilot Jack Semler and wife Lynn.
Also making its first appearance will be the rare Chateau Balleroy balloon, commissioned by Forbes magazine publisher Malcolm Forbes as part of his renowned collection of special-shape balloons.
Visitors can expect two mass hot air balloon ascents each day, afternoon air displays, tethered balloon displays, a hot air balloon night glow, airborne pyrotechnics, and a fireworks finale, subject to weather conditions.
Popular returning balloons include Elii the Elephant, along with Longleat's own Simbaloo and Adelaide, inspired by the estate's famous lions and koalas.
Alongside the balloon displays, visitors will be able to enjoy warbird flypasts and aerobatic performances throughout the event.
Icons of the Sky is included with a Longleat day ticket, while members can book Friday and Sunday access for £1.
