A NUMBER of households across Taunton, North Petherton, and surrounding villages have been affected by recycling collection delays today (Friday, August 7).
Somerset Council has apologised after crews were unable to complete all planned collections, meaning some residents may have been missed.
The authority is asking anyone whose recycling has not been collected to leave their boxes, bags, and bins out for collection.
Crews are expected to return tomorrow to collect any missed recycling.
In a statement, Somerset Council said: "We're sorry, we won't be able to reach everyone as planned today (August 7).
"Some households in and around Taunton, North Petherton, and surrounding villages may not have had a recycling collection today.
"If your recycling wasn't picked up, please leave your boxes, bags, and bins out.
"Crews will return to collect them tomorrow.
"Thank you for your patience."
