"Families are an incredibly important part of our audience, and this accreditation reflects our commitment to providing inspiring, welcoming and inclusive opportunities for people to enjoy making and experiencing art together.
"We're looking forward to welcoming families from across Somerset and beyond to this year's Somerset Art Weeks Festival, where they'll discover a fantastic programme of creative workshops, exhibitions and activities designed to inspire curiosity, imagination and connection."
The accreditation arrives just ahead of this year's Somerset Art Weeks Festival, which takes place across three weekends in September and October.
The festival will feature a county-wide programme of free family workshops, creative activities, demonstrations and hands-on experiences.
Visitors can enjoy nature-inspired experiences, collaborative art-making, artist demonstrations and family-friendly exhibitions at venues throughout Somerset.
