A VEHICLE has been left seriously damaged following a serious blaze in a supermarket car park in Taunton.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to the incident near Morrisons in Dellers Wharf at 4.23pm on August 13.
Taunton fire crews were sent to the scene with one fire engine and, once there, confirmed the vehicle was 'well alight'.
Crews used breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
Once the flames were put out, the fire crews confirmed the vehicle was 80 per cent damaged by the fire.

A fire service spokesperson said: "A vehicle was left severely damaged after catching fire in a supermarket car park.
"The incident occurred at Dellers Wharf.
"A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "The vehicle was 80% damaged by fire."
The cause of the blaze has not yet been confirmed.
