A major agricultural show in the South West is set to return this summer.
The 2026 Melplash Agricultural Show will take place on Thursday, August 27, at the West Bay Showground near Bridport in Dorset.
Organised by the Melplash Agricultural Society, the event remains one of Dorset’s most anticipated summer gatherings, celebrating rural life and farming heritage.
Lucy Hart, society secretary, said: "The Melplash Show is a wonderful celebration of our rural communities and agricultural heritage.
"We are delighted to welcome exhibitors, competitors, traders and visitors back for another fantastic day showcasing the very best of farming and rural life by the Sea in West Dorset.
"Whether you are involved in farming, interested in local food and crafts, or simply looking for a great family day out, there is something for everyone at Melplash."
The show features a packed programme of livestock and equine classes, horticulture and floral displays, homecraft competitions, and more than 400 trade stands.
