- Good evening, this Live Blog has now closed, please see below for the updates on M5 traffic in Somerset from throughout the afternoon and evening.
- Some delays and congestion remain in North Somerset, particularly Northbound between Junction 19 and 20, where average speeds of 10 MPH and delays of around 15 minutes are being reported in some areas.
- Earlier heavier congestion around Taunton and Bridgwater junctions has now cleared, as of 6:30pm.
- Pockets of Northbound congested traffic continue up through Somerset, with more delay warnings to drivers at Avonmouth and coming into Bristol.
