Quiz night fundraiser for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance

Rumwell Farm Shop, located on the A38 between Taunton and Wellington, is hosting the event on Friday, September 25, as part of its year-long fundraising efforts to support Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

Guests will be treated to a homemade two-course hot supper as part of the evening, featuring a main course and a selection of desserts.

Sophie Mitchell, partner at Rumwell Farm Shop, said: "If you’re a bit of a quiz buff or would simply like to enjoy a great night out with friends, family or colleagues, then please join us and put your knowledge to the test on Friday, September 25 from 7pm.

"Our quiz evenings are always brilliant fun and promise an evening filled with plenty of laughter as well as lots of friendly competition."

Teams of up to eight people are invited to book online at rumwellfarmshop.com/autumn-charity-supper-quiz, with tickets costing £23 per person.

The winning team on the night will take home the Rumwell Cup and a selection of prizes.

A fundraising raffle will also take place, with prizes donated by the farm shop, its suppliers, and friends.

All raffle proceeds will go directly to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

The charity is currently running its 2nd Heli Appeal, aiming to raise £1m for a second helicopter.

In response, Rumwell Farm Shop has extended its support for the charity another year.

Ms Mitchell said: "When we heard about the charity’s ambitious plans to purchase a second helicopter, we felt it was important to keep helping them raise funds.

"Every ticket purchased, and every raffle ticket sold will contribute towards supporting their vital work.

"We hope lots of people will join us for what promises to be another enjoyable evening."
