A Taunton retirement development is hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning and pledging to donate £5 for every visitor who attends.
The fundraiser will take place at Riverain Lodge on Tangier Way on Friday, September 18, from 11am to 1pm and is part of Churchill Living’s long-running support for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Caroline Haswell, senior divisional marketing manager at Churchill, said: "We are delighted to be inviting people to our developments once again to support our Macmillan Coffee Mornings.
"These events are not only a fantastic way to raise money for a very worthwhile cause, but also an opportunity to get the local community together and show people what life with Churchill is all about.
"We’ll be donating £5 for every visitor who attends the event, so we hope lots of local people will join us to help support this amazing charity."
Churchill Living has supported Macmillan’s Coffee Morning campaign since 2009 and hopes to surpass £1m in total funds raised for the charity this year.

Ms Haswell said: "Our developments are for those who want to maintain their independence, but with a strong sense of community and security around them, and this event is an ideal opportunity for visitors and their family members to come and see first-hand the lifestyle on offer here."
