A Somerset pub has been named among the UK's best spots to enjoy a walk and lunch this autumn.
The White Hart in Cheddar secured a place in a national top 10 ranking alongside the nearby Cheddar Gorge Trail, which was recognised as one of the country's best autumn pub walks.
Outdoor experts at GO Outdoors compiled the list after analysing mapping data, review ratings and AllTrails reviews to identify routes within reach of highly-rated lunch destinations.
The Cheddar Gorge Trail and The White Hart ranked seventh overall, earning a 'Sunday Stroll Score' of 8.64 out of 10.
According to the research, interest in roast dinners is soaring, with Google searches for "roast dinner near me" increasing by more than 9,000 per cent in the last three months.
A spokesperson for GO Outdoors said the rankings were designed to highlight places where visitors can enjoy both a memorable walk and a quality meal.
The White Hart received a review score of 4.3 out of five, helping secure its place in the national top 10.
The Somerset entry was the only route and pub from the county to feature in the rankings.
The list was topped by the Padley Gorge Circular and The Grouse Inn in Derbyshire, which achieved a score of 9.87 out of 10.
Cheddar finished ahead of routes and pubs in locations including Alfriston, Sarratt and Malham.

Natalie Wolfenden, author and hiking enthusiast at GO Outdoors, said: "Pacing your day properly can make all the difference, especially when you're combining a walk with a meal at the end.
"One of the most common mistakes is misjudging how long a route will actually take once you factor in the trail type and navigation.
"What looks like a straightforward two-hour walk can quickly turn into a longer walk, particularly on uneven ground or busier routes."
Cheddar Gorge is one of Somerset's most popular visitor attractions, attracting walkers throughout the year with its dramatic limestone cliffs, far-reaching views and extensive network of routes through the Mendip Hills.
