A PERSON has been rushed to hospital by air ambulance after an incident occurred near Greggs at Tapstone Business Park in Chard.
At around 8.45pm last night (Tuesday, September 22), emergency services, including Avon and Somerset Police and South Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust, were called to reports of an incident on Tapstone Road in Chard.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service confirmed that they sent a double-crewed ambulance and an air ambulance.
They also confirmed a person was taken to Yeovil District Hospital by air ambulance following the incident.

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: "We were called at 20:43hrs on Tuesday 22 September to an incident in Chard.
"We sent one double-crewed land ambulance and an air ambulance to the scene. We conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Yeovil District Hospital."
Avon and Somerset Police have been contacted for further comment.
