Anyone who has dreamed of taking over a pub has dozens of opportunities to consider across Somerset.

A collection of adverts on Rightmove covers 43 different pubs in cities, towns and villages across the county.

They range from substantial freehold inns with accommodation to leasehold businesses and investment properties occupied by existing operators.

The advertised figures are not directly comparable. Some represent freehold prices, while others concern leases, deposits, tenancies or business goodwill.

The same venue can also be marketed under different arrangements. The George Inn in Brompton Regis, for example, has separate freehold and leasehold adverts.
