A 22-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court after being charged with drug offences following a police search in Bath.
Regis Mbongompasi, from Newport, appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 24, charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs—heroin and crack cocaine—and possession of class B drugs, namely cannabis.
The charges follow a tip-off given to a police community support officer (PCSO) on patrol in Bath.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said officers based in Bath subsequently attended an address in the city and located a quantity of drugs at the address.
Mbongompasi was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Bristol Crown Court on Monday, October 26.
