A budgeting influencer picked up £10.65 worth of Boots food for £4.99.
Claudia Greiner shared the meal deal saving on her TikTok channel, @claudiagreiner, on Sunday, October 11.
The food influencer and budgeting content creator set out to assemble the most expensive combination available in the store.
Her goal was to maximise savings by selecting items with the highest standalone shelf prices.
For the main dish, she picked a chicken katsu and tempura rice bowl priced at £4.35.
She selected a vanilla Huel meal replacement drink costing £3.85 for her beverage.
To complete the three-item deal, she chose a Trek protein bar with an individual price tag of £3.05.
Purchased on their own, the three items came to a combined cost of £10.65.
Speaking in her video, Claudia said: "If you were to buy everything individually then it would be £10.65."
She highlighted the price of the drink, which cost more than many sandwiches and mains in the refrigerator.
Claudia said: "The Huel drink was actually more expensive than the main, which is crazy."
At the till, scanning her Boots Advantage Card lowered the total charge to £4.99.
Shoppers buying the same items without an Advantage Card pay £5.25 in the same branch.
Across the country, standard Boots meal deal pricing typically starts from £3.99 for cardholders.
The transaction resulted in a total saving of £5.66, delivering a discount of more than 50 per cent on the retail total.
Claudia said: "The meal deal price is £4.99, so when you take that away I'm saving £5.66 - that's amazing and this is good quality stuff as well, I'm so happy."
The breakdown demonstrates how shoppers can cut food spending on the high street by pairing loyalty schemes with higher-value options.
