A shoppers’ car park in Taunton will be closed for two days next week during improvement works.
Taunton Town Council is carrying out resurfacing and parking space markings at the car park for Priorswood shops.
The work is taking place at the site off Eastwick Road on Wednesday and Thursday (November 11 and 12).
People are being asked to remove vehicles by midnight on Tuesday (November 10) - or risk potential fines and delays to the works.

Taunton Town Council leader Cllr Tom Deakin said: “I’ve worked hard with officers to get these improvements secured, addressing the condition of the car park and helping to make it safer and more convenient for residents and visitors.
“The car park will be completely closed during the works.
“Please make sure all vehicles are removed by midnight on Tuesday 10th November to avoid potential fines and delays to the project.
“Please plan ahead and park considerately.
“The temporary closure may mean more cars looking for spaces nearby, so please avoid blocking driveways, pavements or access for emergency vehicles.”
Cllr Deakin added: “Local businesses will remain open as usual during the works, so please continue to support the shops.
“Just remember to plan ahead and allow a little extra time for parking.
“Thank you for your patience while the work takes place.
“It’s another improvement for our local area, and I’ll keep pushing to get things done for Priorswood residents.”
