A popular family-run Thai restaurant has permanently closed after serving customers in Somerset for almost 23 years.
Salathai, on Pierrepont Street in Bath, opened in November 2003 and became known for its home-style cooking.
Its final day of trading was Saturday, October 31, bringing more than two decades in the city to an end.
The restaurant’s closure notice did not give a reason for the decision.

Salathai was based at 14-15 Pierrepont Street and served both lunch and dinner.
Its website said the team prepared homemade Thai dishes in the style of the food cooked by the family at home.
Meals were cooked to order and ranged from mild to medium in spice, with extra chillies available on request.
The restaurant advised people to book ahead because its small dining room could fill quickly on busy days.
