Pupils also took part – Key Stage 2 children recited specially-written poems and the school prayer, and reception and Key Stage 2 pupils sang ‘Thank You God for This New Day’.
The service was led by the Rev Jean Price and included a welcome for Vicki Price, the new Key Stage 1 senior teacher, who also joined the school in September.
