TAUNTON came to a stand still this afternoon as groups of students took part in a ‘Flash Mob’.
Shoppers and passers by were left confused as the groups of teenagers appeared to stop in their tracks for two minutes.
The action is called a ‘Flash Mob’ were a large group of people assemble suddenly in a public place and perform an unusual action for a brief time, then quickly disperse.
Abbie Stephens from Taunton’s Richard Husih College was one of the participants.
She said: “It has been going around college for a while and it was on face book so we thought we’d come down.
“It was quite cool and definitely different – I haven’t seen anything like it before.”
