FUNDRAISERS from the Taunton Tankards group made a weighty contribution to pupils from Selworthy School this week.
The group donated nearly £600 to buy specialist weighing equipment for the school, meaning children who used to have to travel to hospital can now be weighed at the school.
Children's community nurse Fareda Fakhrai said: “This is especially important for the non weight bearing children who be may undernourished or over weight as they can monitored by have regular monthly weighs.”
