THE County Gazette backed Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment, SURE, campaign has been boosted to the tune of £3,000 - thanks to fundraising efforts in Ilminster.
A grand charity event at the Shrubbery Hotel in Ilminster earlier this year proved a huge success and now organisers have been able to hand over their donations to the charity.
Angie Blackmore, of Cottage Flowers, spearheaded the event with backing from the Ilminster Lions Club and other supporters.
They would like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported the night.
