PRIMARY school pupils in Somerset will be able to get healthy and learn about teenage diving star, Tom Daley, with the launch of a new website.
The website aims to educate young people and parents about school meals and healthy eating and has a new section with information on diving, swimming and gymnastics including videos and bi-monthly blogs.
Sam Crabb, Somerset County Council’s portfolio-holder for resources, said: !We are excited about the website with Tom being launched in Somerset.
"Educating young people about healthy eating and lifestyles can be a daunting task but role models like Tom Daley give them someone to aspire to.
"The site is very interactive so it is a great way to get young people interested and they can watch videos, download activity sheets and learn about different sports and healthy lifestyles."
