Mayor Peter Critchard shares a joke with Ray and Joyce Labett
MAYOR Peter Critchard official opened a new sunroom for residents at Popham Court care home in Courtland Road, Wellington.
Home manager Hazel Jones said: “Our beautiful new sunroom is a real boon.
"It is bright and welcoming and has a decked area overlooking the garden so residents can sit outside too.
“The afternoon was a great success all round. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed chatting to the Mayor, who was a real hit.
“All that was missing on the day was the sun!” Popham Court is part of the Taunton-based Somerset Care Group, the largest not-for-profit company in Somerset.
