A WOMAN accused of causing £20,000 of damage to an historic Exmoor church had her court case adjourned this morning.
Grace Coles, 36, of Wheddon Cross, faces one count of arson following a fire that destroyed flooring and four pews at St John the Evanglist Church in Cutcombe in August.
A plea and directions hearing was due to take place at Taunton Crown Court today but the court was cleared for behind-closed-doors negotiations between lawyers and the case has been adjourned.
No plea was entered and no date for the next hearing has been set.
