RUISHTON Primary School held a conker competition for all pupils and parents.
The winning parent, Ben Leadley, finished with a victory lap of the playground and was presented with a ‘William the Conkerer’ trophy and certificate by Sylviane Koechlin, from France.
The winners of the competition from each class were presented with trophies and certificates in assembly.
During assembly the head teacher, Neil Dalton, was challenged to a game by the oldest winning pupil, Charlotte, who, despite the head trying to cheat, was the eventual and deserved winner.
