THE snow is back and several schools in Somerset have again closed their doors - others are operating with changes to normal procedures.
Some areas recieved between 5 and 10 cm of snow with some on high ground recieving around 20cm.
Around 20 schools in Somerset have been forced to close their doors due to snow.
Although parents may have problems getting their children to schools that are open as most busses have been cancelled.
The following schools are closed or under special restrictions.
Baltonsborough CEVC Primary School nr Glastonbury. Closed.
Binegar C of E Primary School. Closed.
Bishop Henderson School Closed
Blue School. Closed. Public exams will run. Check with the school for details.
Bruton Primary School will open at 10.00am
Cheddon Fitzpaine CofE Primary School is OPEN but children to wear own warm clothes and arrive any time up to half past 9.
Chilton Trinity Technology College Bridgwater Years 10 and 11 only
Christ Church First School open between 10am and 3pm
Key Centre for Children and the Community open between 9:30am and 4pm
Churchstanton Primary School closed due to snow and hazardous road access.
Croscombe CE Primary nr Wells Closed due to snow
Court Fields School in Wellington open from 9.30am. Elmhurst Junior School, Street. Closed. Boilerfailure
ELMWOOD SCHOOL - open from 10am to students. Staffexpected to arrive as usual
Hamp Nursery & Infant's school, Bridgwater open from 10.00am
Huish Primary School, Yeovil - OPEN
Kilmersdon Church of England Primary School near Radstock. Closed.
King Arthur's Community School School OPEN for all students from 10am.
School transport may be affected, please check the school website before you leave.
Kingsmead School Wiveliscombe open but Quantock and Berry's buses are not running.
Langford Budville Church of England Primary School Nr Wellington School is opening today.
Leigh on Mendip First School near Frome closed due to snow
Ladymeade School in Taunton is open to all years from 9.30am to 2.05pm.
Noah's Ark Pre School, Taunton, will be closed until January 18 becuase of frozen piped.
Elmhurst Junior School, Street - Closed
Mells First School near Frome closed
North Cadbury Primary School. Open normal times
Nunney First School, Nunney, Nr Frome closed
Nynehead School Open but with reduced staffing levels. Not sure about hot lunches yet.
Oake and Bradford School Open not sure about hot lunches yet
Oakhill C of E Primary near Shepton Mallet closed
East Bridgwater School is open for years 10 and 11.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Wincanton is open but travel with care.
Wellsprings Primary School in Taunton is a late stat at 9.30am.

NORTH NEWTON OPEN
Sampford Arundel school, near Wellington open from 10.30m. Please ring first to check staff have been able to arrive and bring a packed lunch in case kitchens are closed. Please make sure all the children have coats and boots.
Whitstone school, Shepton Mallet is closed
However, the scheduled exam will take place. Shepton Mallet Infants School Closed due to snow.
St. Dubricius First School, Porlock is OPEN Those travelling from the Moor and outlying areas are encouraged to come in ONLY when conditions on the road improve.

Wellsprings Primary School open at 9.30.
West Buckland Primary School OPEN to all pupils
West Pennard Primary School Staff unable to get in and site and approaches very dangerous.
Wincanton Primary School OPEN at 10:00am for all year groups.
Minehead First School closed.
Minehead Middle School closed.
Berry's Coaches are not running any school services although they are operating thier London trips.
Taunton's two Park and Ride services are still both closed.
