THE decaying and storm-damaged willow tree in Corporation Street which was cut down by Taunton Deane Council is finally being replaced – after two and a half years.
A council spokesperson said a Liquidambar styraciflua (Lane Roberts) will be planted in the Cider Press Garden in the next few weeks.
