COASTGUARDS are warning walkers to stay away from dangerous cliff paths after more land slides near Blue Anchor in West Somerset.
Members of Watchet Coastguard found another large section of woodland and field east of the Beeches Holiday Park towards Watchet which had fallen into the sea over night on Monday and Tuesday.
This is the latest landslip in the area and has left a large section of woodland on the beach between Warren Bay and Blue Anchor.
Coastguard rescue officer Simon Bale said: “The cliff path was recently closed by the Crown Estate who owns the land, however it is apparent that many people are ignoring the warnings and still walking this now dangerous section of cliff path, unaware that a large area is unstable and continuing to slide into the sea.
“We would like to advise anyone thinking of ignoring the closed signs to think twice, and anyone using the beach to keep well away from the loose material that has slipped into the sea.”
