ALCOHOL sellers in Taunton have been given a clean bill of health by police for refusing to sell booze to people who are under 18.
Officers teamed up with trading standards officials for a test purchasing operation last week aimed at checking whether licensees prevent underage sales of alcohol and tobacco.
Sgt Simon Bawler, of Taunton town centre team, praised licensees after all attempted sales were refused.
