POLICE are investigating an incident in Minehead that left a man needing hospital treatment yesterday.
Officers were called to an address in the early hours in Alcombe following reports that a 20-year-old man had been assaulted.
A police spokesman said it was believed the man received injuries to his back.
He was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, but was later discharged.
A 20-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on police bail.
The County Gazette has received two reports that the incident was a stabbing but police were unable to confirm this.
