A Falmouth call centre has closed for business this afternoon following a series of explosions in London.
Market Reach, in Bickland Water Road, has made the decision to stop making calls in an effort not to block telephone lines.
One worker said that clients had asked them not to call, as they were waiting for news from friends and relatives in London.
A sign on the door of the call centre informs workers due to manage the evening shift tonight: "Due to the London bombing, Market Reach Ltd are closed this evening. Please come in for normal shift tomorrow. Thank you. (Sorry for any inconvenience.)"
