BUTLINS Minehead has been awarded a four-star rating by VisitBritain, the UK tourism body.
The resort, which attracts almost half a million guests to the town every year, received plaudits for its cleanliness, service and hospitality, while resort staff were praised for their consistent attention to the needs of holidaymakers.
Resort director Darren Hollis said he was 'thrilled' with the news.
