LOW income families in West Somerset may soon be able to get loans at a reduced rate of interest to help them repair their homes.
The £140,000 home improvement scheme will also provide maintenance advice to vulnerable residents.
The scheme has been developed by West Somerset District Council and Wessex Reinvest-ment Trust, a community-owned business.
It is aimed at residents who cannot access loans from high street lenders.
