VETERAN blood donors Dr Philip Creed and David Brunt, who both live in Ilminster, received awards for their commitment to the National Blood Service.
Dr Creed received his gold award, a badge and pen for donating blood on 50 occasions, and Mr Brunt was presented with a glass dish for his 75th donation.
The awards were presented at The Shrubbery Hotel, Ilminster, by local donor organiser Wyn Broughton, and Julie Butterworth, team manager for the National Blood Service's Taunton team.
